 2016 saw the release of the biographical thriller movie Neerja. The film is based on the true account of Neerja Bhanot, a brave young woman who, in 1986, aboard Pan Am Flight 73 that had been hijacked, saved the lives of 359 passengers. Ram Madhvani served as the film's director, and Atul Kasbekar served as the producer.
